"Exploring Colorado’s Railroad Heritage" – A Historical Biking and Hiking Journey presented by Tony Gojanovic.  He has written a book about discovering Colorado’s colorful railroad history through hiking and biking areas in our state. His book provides a flavor of what railroading used to be like in Colorado.  Trails include urban areas to mountain forests and the high arid deserts the trains of the Denver, South Park and Pacific, the Colorado Midland, the Denver and Rio Grande and others used to run along.  Even if you are not a bicyclist or hiker, you will recognize some of our landmarks that are part of our Colorado rail heritage.

" The Colorado Eastern Railroad" - Colorado's most obscure Narrow Gauge

"Mister Moffats Road"   In Colorado's youth, David Moffat, a Denver business leader, founded the Denver Northwestern & Pacific Railway. Speaker and Historian Stan Moore brings us his story of the building of that railroad and how that road helped make the state what it is today. "A new look is taken at a little known chapter of Colorado's past.   A historical novel with a twist, it is set in 1900's Colorado.   And the present day. Mik Mas is a man out of time.  He finds himself in 1903, thrown into the struggle to build the railroad.   Some of the folks he meets along the road resemble people from home.  But even if they were a friend at home they may or may not be one here.   He struggles to separate foe from friend even while he tries to fit in to an unfamiliar time."
